The Hanson Place Child Development Center, Inc. (HPCDC) is a state-of-the-art early childhood center. It is a non-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors comprised of parents, New York State labor and management representatives, and other interested professionals. It is funded by tuition revenues. Hanson Place provides year-round child care services for children of New York State employees and the community-at-large. Children of New York State employees are given priority placement. Hanson Place provides care for children ranging in age from 8 weeks to 5 years. The Center is licensed by The New York City Department of Health, Bureau of Day Care. The Center is funded by tuition revenues as well as from ACD, CACFP, and Private Fund Raising. HPCDC is located in the New York State Office Building at 55 Hanson Place. The center is conveniently located at Atlantic Avenue, Flatbush Avenue and Fulton Street.
